OMG I LOVE YOUR DRESS! WOw you did an amazing job on the vision and you look wonderful in it!! I can’t believe it is the same dress!
WOW!!! That is an amazing change! It looks so beautiful
that is amazing!
Thanks ladies! I have to figure out how I am going to bustle the dress…any ideas?!
Do you remember the seller’s name for your veil?
it’s gorgeous! and i love the sash–may i ask which one it is? 🙂
Woowee that is one figure flattering dress! Looks great on you
It looks really good on you! One thing, though, its too tight across the hips because it is gathering/bunching there. I would have it let out 1/2 inch on each side so it lays flat and it will probably be more comfortable too!
thanks! i love it! 🙂 i’ve been trying to find one for my dress too…but i’m having a really hard time picking one out without having the dress in front of me and trying it out. how long did it take for you to receive the sash?
@cartascartas: It took me awhile to find one also. I went to local bridal shops, fabric stores, and then I found the one on Etsy that was perfect and for a nice price. I received the sash in I think a week and a half. I couldn’t believe how fast it shipped from Israel to the US! The sash is even prettier in person, very sparkly. The sash is sewn on a ribbon so if I wanted to, I could have made a bow on the back of the dress but instead decided to cut off the extra ribbon because of the corset back. Either way would have been pretty!
Here are some other options that I had and maybe you might want to consider if you haven’t already:
I found this beaded ribbon at a fabric store for a $100 a yard. It was pretty but not what I was looking for and the gold color wouldn’t have gone with my dress.
This is another option that I had at a local bridal shop. A lady would custom make me a sash but it would run me over $100. This sash was pretty but still not exactly what I was looking for.
Beautiful reminds me of a Sottero & Midgley dress! =]
