Congrats for getting your dress! I’m also a Dakota bride but don’t have my dress yet!! Would love to see yours though if you ahve any pics – in the absence of mine I’m trying to see as many as possible!

With the dress being so fittedI really wasn’t sure what undergarnments to wear but if you find anything, I’d love to hear it too :

I am Dakota bride, I didn’t wear a bra at all, but then again I wasn’t blessed in that department, If I did have to I think any seamless, strapless bra would work fine, that build-in corset typle thing is definatly thick enough that you wouldn’t see it!! But saying that it does have a 3 clasp bra type fastening, have you tried it without a bra at all?? Although its not a deep sweetheart, it is quite low, a bra might poke out!!?

@cabincrewkate:  what a stunning picture! you look gorgeous!! I think I’ll probably do the same as you and go without a bra… I’m 34B but thinking with the corset and how fitted it is, fitting a bra may be quite difficult..

I wore Blue by Enzonai Dalby. I wear a 38 Dirty Delete usually, so I worried about the bra thing. The built in corset was definately enough to hold me in, so I would think that it could hold in most people.

@alaskin17:  First off you were a gorgeous bride and had a gorgeous wedding. I am curious to know if you ended up using a bra or did the inside corset hold them in place?

I’ve recently ordered this dress and the first time i tried it on I wore a victorias secret strapless bra (very good bra) but actually felt it made me look a little busty as the dress has boning in it like a corset around the chest area and so the second time I tried it on (when i ordered it!) I didnt wear a bra (and I am a 32D) and the dress actually looked much better – i felt more petite, classy, elegant etc! A bra is not necessary as the dress gives you so much support!

I tried on Dakota and ended up getting a custom dress that is fairly similar. I wouldn’t have worn a bra at all (and I’m an H cup). The internal structure of that dress is impressive!

There is a backless bra on this blog. If you do a google search for backless bras you might find a few stores that sell them.
