That would be really anti climactic to me. Like watching a movie alone and looking around the room to laugh at a really funny joke at someone and realizing there’s no one to laugh with lol. It’s totally up to you but I’d want to be like OMG and ogle over it with someone.

Not everyone has the luxury of hoards of friends and family to show up to watch them try on dresses — I tried on mine alone when it came in, it was NBD, I just wanted to nmake sure it actually fit. I don’t think your undergarments are going to make too much of a difference so just go ahead and try it.

I would do it!  It’s such an exciting thing that I wouldn’t be able to wait.

When my dress came in it never even occured to me to bring someone. I brought some people when I bought it, so I didn’t need anyone there just to pick it up. Are you having alterations done in-house? That’s the only reason you would need undergarmets or shoes. My alterations were done privately so basically when my dress came in I just went to the salon after work and tried it on to be sure it fit, paid the remainder and brought it home. Took all of 20 minutes.

I couldn’t wait. Just take heels and it won’t matter that they’re not the right ones.

TOTALLY try it on yourself.  That way you can just be you in the mirror with yourself imagining your wedding on your day, no other opinions, no other eyes.  Congrats!
