Agree with everyone. I guess it’s always a fear that when we get our dress we will not fit in it.  Do some cardio along with some strengh training and you will get back to your ideal weight.  The holidays aren’t helping either but you have time.  Don’t worry and just focus.  The dress fits you it seems from the picture and we are always our worst critics of ourselves. You don’t need to lose much just tone up.  🙂

I wanted to spend a moment bemoaning bust size with you. I’ve never been able to lose weight in my bust.  When I went dress shopping, they told me that if I just lost an inch around my bust, I wouldn’t need alterations…

I’ve had a 38 inch bust since I was 15.  I’ve had it at my lightest (100 lbs) and my heaviest (145 lbs).  I went a size up in dress knowing I’d never lose the inch.

You can do it!! Mine came in an inch small in the bust too – but I only have two months!! I’m walking/running every day and doing a 24-day cleanse.

They should be able to let it out from the sides a little at the bust.  My dress shop said that they could let it out 3/4″ on each side (so increase bust measurement by 1.5″) with no problem.

Also, in your working out, be careful not to do back/shoulder stuff– it may make your back slightly broader, which is not what you want when the dress is snug in the bust!

I am in the same boat… bust was my biggest measurement in ordering my dress.  Ugh.

You can’t lose 10lbs in 7 months? That is crazy talk, you absolutely can but it takes effort. Also, most (not all but most) females lose weight from their bust before almost anywhere else so that should be encouraging.

@ChelleNBlake:  find a boot camp in your area and stick to a good diet plan – nothing drastic.  Boot camp will help you force yourself to push as hard as you can and since you pay for it up front you’re more likely to go so you don’t waste the money.  You can do this! It’s 7 months! You have plenty of time!

I actually think the dress looks great.  It is not unfixable by a good seamstress..  You do not need to order a new dress at all.   I have a bad habit of ordering bridesmaid dresses a size too small.  A good seamstress can give you 1 to 2 sizes in certain spots easily.  They can also make another panel for the back.  Between both, I tink it will be gorgeous on you.  No need to panic one bit.  You can try to lose weight.  If life is just too crazy and it doesn’t work out, You will be fine.  Get your booty to the seamstress and have them fix it up for you.  🙂

I actually think the dress looks good on you. Looks like it fits well, even in the bust. If it’s uncomfortable, though, or if you feel like “your cup runneth over,” just try to tone up. Don’t kill yourself losing weight. You aren’t fat AT ALL and I think the dress looks almost exactly the same on you in both pictures.

And have you checked with a seamstress to see if it can be let out a little, especially if it’s a corset back? I feel like this is an easier option than trying to find a whole new dress.

Weight Watchers.  Its not cheap (approx $40 a month), but its the only “diet” I have ever been on that works.  You will lose that weight, and plus some in no time! You can definatley lose that weight in 3 months.
