Last month, I ordered my wedding dress for my wedding on 10/13/12. I wasn’t planning on looking so soon, but I quickly made an appointment and went shopping on the same day. My dream dress was a big skirt, ruffles, and lots of sparkle. I made a binder of Maggie dresses and originally wanted the Ivanka which they didn’t have. I would have had to give a 50% deposit without seeing or trying on the dress in person. I am 5″2 so with alterations I would have lost a lot of ruffle. Lastly, I tried on this dress. It is nothing like what I imagined. My Mom almost cried, and I said yes to the dress. I thought it was the one. I’m worried that it is not dramatic enough and will not make a statement. I envisioned something so fashion forward and fabulous, but I ended up picking this. I tried on many other beautiful dresses with skirts, but I have a disability which affects my walking and I had trouble with dresses with heavier skirts.
Did anyone else experience doubt?
