@MrsStrawberry24: Just remember “You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.” ESPECIALLY in retail.

ETA: It is totally their fault but if you’re nice about it and make them feel guilty then you can score some free stuff.

@MrsStrawberry24: no apology necessary, you have every reason to be upset now that i understand they havent ordered the dress – i would be wanting to tear them  a new one myself if this was me

try to play the upset bride more than the angry, hell cry if you have to – they might be more inclined to fall over themselves to fix the mistake and make you happy

As long as you bring them your proof, it shoudl all work out!  Take this from me.  I had a dress nightmare just a week before the wedding, and I had to start all over.  It all worked out.  Thankfully, you caught THEIR error with enough time for them to fix it.

Since you’re in the right and you have proof just go in there and patiently explain the situation.  I’m sure they will work things out with you 🙂 Good luck!

Definitely not the most wanted situation but atleast their ordering mistake doesn’t put you at risk at not having your dress for the wedding (which brides have had happen)… Does stink that it may not be here in December BUT you still have plenty of time for alterations for the big day in March.

Definitely play the worried/crying bride over the angry bride.. especially since really it’s just a bit of an inconvenience and not a complete disaster.

Goodluck

I wish you the best of luck and hopefully they will give you lots of extras and offer to rush order the dress to make up for their mistake.

Oh my god, that sucks! I’m so sorry. I would go raise hell…. but like everyone else said it would probably be better going in and crying.
