@MrsStrawberry24: You ordered a Bonny gown?  Me too!  And, good news!  I ordered my dress on June 22nd for my March 2012 wedding and it arrived ONE MONTH later.  So, I think the 4 month window that House of Brides gave you is to protect themselves because Bonny delivers – fast!

ugh. House of Brides was a nightmare to deal with too! I ordered it in October of 2010 and when I went back in Feb to order bridesmaid dresses, they havent released it because my wedding wasnt until October of 2011. I was livid… so I screamed and whined and they had it for me by April! I took it out of there as soon as I could! Good Luck!!

So sorry you are having to go through this.  You have all the proof you need by providing them with your receipt and the pics; so in the end I think it should work out fine.  Between now and tomorrow, just breath.  You may need your strength to go all Chuck Norris oin their ass. LOL

That sucks, but keep in mind that the person you end up talking to at the bridal salon will probably not be the person who made the mistake. There is still time to get your dress, and obviously you have your proof, so don’t worry too much, but the person who helps you will be way more inclined to go the extra mile if you’re nice to them and realize it’s not their fault. I work in customer service and I just hate getting screamed and cussed at over someone else’s mistake when I’m doing all that I can, it sucks and ruins my day. Happened today, actually.

@MrsStrawberry24: Glad to hear it. I’m sorry the lady on the phone was rude though, that sucks, she has no reason to be that way. Maybe they’ll take something extra off the price to make up for the mistake? I know that’s that I usually do if someone makes a mistake on a customer’s order. I sell TVs, not wedding dresses, lol, but hopefully they can do that too!

Just another reason why HOB = House of Horrors. I think it’s very telling of a store that has signs saying they have both audio and visual recording at all times.
