honestly? you can do better! i mean, it looks nice but this is your wedding dress!!!!the dress doesnt work for your body type very well. the breast part is too small and actually makes your breasts look short and small which also makes your waist look odd. also the veil doesnt match well. congrats on the weight loss!! you look amazing and deserve to show off that new skinny body in a better dress!!! you have a great figure for dresses, keep looking! 😀

It doesn’t look bad, because I don’t think anything would really look bad on your figure, but I do think a dress with a natural waist would look better. Empire waist dresses are really hard, IMO. I’d rather see your slim waist accentuated!

And I agree with @bestbuddies that the breast part looks too small.

I don’t think this is the most flattering dress on you. In my opinion, it makes your bust look out of proportion to the rest of your body. I would suggest a dress with more of a defined waist, with a bit more “oomph” to the bottom to really give you an hourgalss shape.

Yeah… I honestly think you can do better as well. That sort of draped style only really looks good on really skinny girls. You can make your boobs look better than that as well… you need more support and lift! Once you get the dress, then look for the veil. You deserve to look fantastic!

@MissFireFlower:  the bust area is too small. The waist doesn’t hit at the right place. It’s a pretty dress, but doesn’t seem to fit well. I love the way the skirt flows, though! Can you take another picture with the right undergarments on?

Do you have the option to return it? Or to get a new dress?

@MissFireFlower:  Have you looked for sample dresses on Ebay.  My girlfriend just bought a beautiful Maggie sample on there for $69 and it was stunning.  It needed a cleaning, but the dry cleaner only charged her $50 and it was perfect.

@MissFireFlower:  Your body looks fantastic- I just want to point that out. It is just the dress- it isn’t doing your shape any justice.  You mentioned you liked it because it was simple, perhaps along the same lines:

Simple and pretty with a waistline I think would be more flattering. And it is only $299.00

@MissFireFlower:  Don’t worry about time — you still have plenty of time to find a dress you love. Seriously. Don’t panic. I bought mine a little less than 3 months before our wedding, and I could have even gone later.

I hear you about wanting to try dresses on before buying. Do you have good wedding dress shops near you?

And you should totally take a month off from searching if you want to. You’ve got time!

The bottom half of the dress is pretty, soft and flowy but the boob area looks too small/low and isn’t very flattering on you.
