I’m happy to finally have my dress; no need to post pics of strangers anymore 🙂 The downer is it arrived larger than planned. I don’t know what happened. I did lose a little weight (and still shrinking), but not dress sizes. I did allow an extra inch when I was measured, I guess that was where I messed up – who knew this would happen? I need to check the tag against my order to make sure the bridal shop didn’t screw up. Hopefully this is an easy fix in alterations. Speaking of alterations, I’m getting the neckline changed to a sweetheart.
I took my dress to a local shop to find accessories for my dress. I need the hive’s opinion. I want to bring out a modern chic look, beyond the shape of the dress. What would you do? Jewelry, veil, shoes…I’m open.
My oversized dress is clipped in the back 😉
For the poll:

With the dress plain and simple without a belt or sash, I really noticed your curves. I thought D***! Wish I had curves like that! But with the belt and sash, I didn’t have that same reaction. Your curves just didn’t stand out as much when you had those on.
Forgot to add. GORGEOUS DRESS!

What is the name of your dress? love it!

I love plain and simple but if you choose a sash I think it should be the beaded one. But like Loribeth… I think your curves a perfect in that dress just the way it is. The lace is gorgeous.

@Loribeth: Thanks 🙂 When I was looking at myself in the mirror I felt like my middle look like a tree trunk. lol! I guess because my torso is short. I was hoping the that having something there would help.

Girl, you look fabulous in all three photos. Hmmm, I think I would go with plain. I asked my husband too, and he said its between the plain, or the sparkly one, but that the sparkly one gets kind lost. hehe. So plain!

Hi tiny waist!! Your dress if beautiful!! I actually really like the plain sash better than the beaded one, but they both look great!

I think it look good just as it is ! You look fabulous in it ! If you do feel you need a sash, I like the beaded one 🙂 You look great dear !

Thanks! You guys really know how to make a girl feel good 🙂 Post-surgery I have been feeling a little insecure about the middle. Because it feels like a lot is there. I still have numbness over the lower portion of my tummy. It feels heavy and flabby months after :/ This is why I think I want something around my waist to kinda cinch in my waist a little more. I want to channel Jessica Rabbit. lol!

I vote taupe sash times 100000. I love it 🙂 And you are gorgeous in that dress.

I love it plain and simple too, you have great curves and I agree that they show better without any sash! I love your dress and how it looks on you, you definately found “YOUR” dress!!!

Okay… Looked at the pictures again. Your middle does not even come close to looking like a tree trunk. You completely rock that dress!
