Who would be so unkind to say they hate your dress?? In any case, just realize that no matter what dress you pick, *somebody* won’t like it. It doesn’t matter the shape, the fabric, the embellishments, etc… somebody will not like it. Not everyone has the same style, that’s why they make a variety of different dresses which can be confusing for those of us who are less decisive.
What matters is that YOU like it. 🙂 I think there’s a lot of pressure to pick “the perfect dress everyone will love” and it doesn’t exist!
For what it’s worth, I love your dress and I’m not even much of a fan of pickups. I think it looks great and once it is fitted, you’ll look beautiful on your wedding day. Do not worry.

The color is great on you and it is perfect from the back. The front has a little too much going on. I think if you could have it altered to remove the lace inset in the front of the skirt (just have the shiny pickup thing all around) it would look much better. People are polarized about the “caught-up” skirts–you either love them or hate them. It looks great on you, though.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank those who left genuinely nice & helpful comments. You all are truly divine and amazing. I also appreciate the comments that were left that weren’t so positive about the dress but were said in a respectful way. Thank you again to all of you who contributed.
I also would like to note that at the age of 25, I’m shocked by how rude and demeaning some women can be. You can be honest without being disrespectful.
