First let me start by saying I kept trying on dresses after I ordered my DressilyMe dress (which I never tried on the original at a salon or anything). I fell in love with an Allure dress while waiting for my Dressily dress to come. The DressilyMe dress was only $170 anyways, so no harm if I didn’t keep it I decided. The Allure is what I will be wearing for my wedding.
So in this order I will post pics: the Allure that I am ACTUALLY wearing, the Ella design I wanted replicated and then finally all the pics of the DressilyMe dress.
In the post after these pictures I will describe my experiences with Dressilyme.com
The Ella I wanted replicated:
And finally, a million from DressilyMe (in order how I opened it):

Ok so now my review. First let me state that I am PICKY. UBER picky. I can’t stand imperfections. Craftsmanship is incredibly important to me. David’s Brial isn’t up to par for me, Alllure, Maggies, I expect that kind of quality in my dress. That being said…. please read.
I placed my order on Jan. 20th (custom sizing).
They told me last Friday it was shipping, it arrived today (Monday). WOW FAST!
I didn’t get any pictures before they shipped it which made me nervous even though I asked for it.
So the actual dress:
-smells like fish (not terribly and I am sure I can get this smell out somehow)
-The ruffles on the skirt are a little uneven, and not like the original Ella from the pics, the replica’s are much heavier, but probably fixable and honestly I still think it’s pretty. Nothing that would make or break this for me if I were wearing it in my wedding.
-The material is high quality. The appliques look fantastic.
-The fit is a little big (mostly my fault, I measured myself and added a tad extra as a safety measure)
-I cannot get over the fact that I paid $170 for this. It is nicer material, quality and sewing than 90% of what I have seen at chains like David’s Brial.
I would recommend DressilyMe.com to anyone. (No I am not a compensated employee or something, lol!) Even though I am not wearing this dress for my wedding, they did a FANTASTIC job. The quality is wonderful. The replication is 90-95% the original design. I am incredibly impressed by their work!!

Yay! I love Dressilyme reviews since we’re ordering our BM dresses from there. I’m sure my girls are probably a little skeptical, so I’m very happy when people post good reviews.

I took the time to post a million pics because I became obsessed trolling the internet for reviews when I ordered 🙂 You bee’s helped a lot so I am returning the favor!

Before I read your review post I did notice the difference in the skirt ruffles but I think dressilyme actually improved on the original.
This review and the pictures are super helpful since I’m considering ordering a dress online, thanks. And I love that Allure on you, very flattering 🙂

I love hearing how the China dresses come out! I’m glad it worked out for you as well!
@vorpalette: I got my BM dresses from there, as well as my dress. Just a word of warning, get your BM dresses made to fit their measurements – it’s worth the extra $15 or so. 2 of my girls gave me exact measurements and their dresses fit like GLOVES. I ordered my dress to fit my measurements and mine also fit absolutely perfectly – no alterations for all 3 of us. The other 2 were stubborn and gave me standard dress sizes, neither of their dresses fit – they were too small. One was able to be altered and she had a lace-up back put in, the other was not able to be altered because it was just TOO small. I can also vouch for the craftsmanship too…..I expected a light un-lined shell of a dress. What I got was beautifully made with full lining and boning and was very heavy with the material. It was definitely comparable to any of the dresses I tried on in stores, and so were the bridesmaid dresses.

Oh I am not saying I am upset by the ruffles. I like how it looks fuller with the ruffles. It still wouldn’t be something that bothered me had I seen the actual Ella in person and I WOULD wear it if I hadn’t fell in love with the Allure.

Thank you for posting! I am a picky bride on a tight budget. Now I am super excited about Dressilyme!

@MrsPuddingface: I am encouraging them to go the custom size route so that they don’t need alterations. Their size chart doesn’t go large enough anyway, but I said it’s $15 or $$$$ for alterations once it gets here! Do you have pictures of your dresses?

@2littleslauren: Wow! It fits you like a glove! It looks so beautiful!

I think the craftsmanship at David’s varies. You get what you pay for in most cases, but I’m wearing an all-over lace Galina gown from DB and it is stunning. Literally nothing wrong with it, and fits like a glove. But I’m glad you were pleased with your replica!
