Our e-pics are next week. I’m so not looking forward to them.
I don’t know what to wear, my skin is terrible. I hate photos because I’m so big at the moment.
Please lovely bees, do you have any advice or tips?

@Soon2BD-CBee: Have your makeup professionally done. Professional make up can cover many sins.
Have a (as in ONE) glass of wine first. It will losen you up a bit. Keep in mind no ones good pictures when they are half in the bag, so keep it to one.

Talk with your photographer about what angles work best to flatter your shape, and if there are any particular colors that photograph better than others. My photog likes dark colors, for example.
If you have under eye circles or a double chin, looking down at the camera can accentuate those problems, so try looking slightly up or directly at the camera.
If you have a wide waist, try angling your body instead of standing directly squared with the camera.
Don’t worry about skin issues, they can usually edit out blemishes and such.
See if you can get the photog to meet up maybe 10 minutes prior to starting the shoot to go over different positions and angles to see what works best with your trouble areas.

@SeaSalt: thanks for the advice. I can’t drink due to the meds I take but having my make-up done is a great idea.

@DaneLady: thanks for the advice. The photographer is a very dear friend of ours, she’s well aware of both mine of FI’s body issues. So I’m sure that’ll help. In most of her work she does favour dark colours. So I’ll go with that.
