I’m so sorry they treated you that way!  Such bad customer service.  I tried on dresses there too and was not impressed.  The lady didn’t give me a commissioning spiel but she was definitely not interested in my appointment and just did the bare minimum in getting me in the dresses.  Needless to say, I didn’t get my dress there.  I think you should write a letter to corporate expressing your dissatisfaction at their customer service.  I would also post on their FB page…everyone will see what your experience was like there.  You are right, for a business that is supposed to make women feel beautiful they are sorely lacking.  Hugs!

Wwwwoooooow.

First off, a size six is far from out of shape, I’m sure you look lovely.

Their crap dress just found it hard to fit your rockin’ bod perfectly, and I would have told them so even though I’m about twice your size.

Would they give you your money back? It doesn’t sound like you’re in love with this dress… maybe try elsewhere and get a better experience where you aren’t pressured into buying a dress you don’t love and then treated like crap afterward!!

David’s Bridal sells your information to other wedding businesses. That’s all I need to know; I would never purchase something there.

I had a similar experience at DB, the lady who measured me said she was surprised because she thought from looking at me that I was a bigger size than she measured me at…wow! And then once I said I liked something, she clearly just wanted to be done and half-assed it after that. I didn’t get my dress from DB though. I would call their corporate offices and see if it’s possible to cancel the order – I would go get it from another DB store where they can treat you with the respect you deserve!

Oh man, that’s awful.  DB is so hit or miss, which is unfortunate.  They do a lot of marketing to budget brides, so it’s a shame when they treat people like that.

Get your money back, you don’t deserve that kind of treatment.  Either go to a different DB with a better staff or you can find a dress somewhere else, because why do they deserve your money?

UM size 6 is what I see as perfect! Crazy woman, Im sure you are beautiful!

I would have cried.  I do not take confrontation very well, and I cry. It would have been very humiliating, I would have paid for the dress, and then went home and dragged my Fiance down to yell at her. lol

I think you handled it VERY well!  I cant believe that whole experience.  F them!

@NYYandLace:  I understand that, lol my Fiance gets a little over protective too. But I’d definitely call corporate and complain and ask for a refund.

IF they don’t allow it, call the Better Business Bureau… you deserve a good dress memory! (other than the wedding, of course lol)

@NYYandLace:  I ‘m sorry you had such a horrid experience. I didn’t get a dress from David’s Bridal but I was very happy with my trying on experience. I went on a whim the day after I got engaged and the girl was so freaking nice to me. We were just like friends, laughing while trying to squeeze me into dresses. She knew I wasn’t ready to purchase but she was so nice regardless.
