AndreaM924:  I sent ours to my parents (across the country) first so the could tell me how they fared in the mail and my mom said they looked great, so don’t worry!

I ordered my invitations and RSVP cards from Vistaprint. The cost ended up being amazing because they were having a 50% off sale the day I ordered. I agree that they are not super amazing in terms of paper or color. But I still think they are very nice overall. And I just ordered the most “standard” options for paper type etc anyways.

All in all I would say I was very happy with them. They are true to what I ordered and came very promptly. I’ve had some compliments on them as well. And the website is easy to use as well, with lots of options for ‘premade’ designs that you can change to personalize them.

AndreaM924:  I went through vistaprint for the invites as well as our STD. Everything came back great and spent less then a $100 for invites,RSVP, envelopes, cutesy stickers and address labels. I ordered 60.

VistaPrint is great if paper quality isn’t a big priority for you – even their “premium” stock doesn’t compare well to the more expensive stationery suppliers… and I think for the vast majority of us, that’s totally fine because these STDs/invitations will hang on guests’ fridges for maybe a year max, and then go straight into the garbage (or hopefully recycling).

I think you definitely get way more than you pay for with VistaPrint. Their print quality is superb, and their customer service is even better. I ordered 100 magnets from them and the registration was awful (registration = colors overlapping correctly) and they reprinted them for free and sent them with rush shipping, and the new ones were perfect. And they’ve almost always got 30-50% off sales, who can beat that?!

AndreaM924:  Also I have to say, for someone with no design experience you did an incredible job! (Heck, even for someone with experience you did a great job!) And your pictures are so cute and both you and your Fiance have really nice smiles 🙂

I ordered our Save the Date postcard-sized magnets from Vistaprint and they were great!  I designed them in Powerpoint and I thought they looked pretty professional if I do say so myself haha.  It was super easy to upload my design onto Vistaprint.

A few months later I ordered our wedding invitations, RSVPs, and rehearsal dinner invitations through Vistaprint (also designed in Powerpoint!).  I actually ordered oversided postcards for the wedding invitations and regular sized postcards for the RSVP and rehearsal dinner invitations because postcards were cheaper than the regular invitations, but I upgraded to recycled matte paper.  The invitations came out GREAT, but the RSVP and rehearsal dinner invitations were not so great.  The printer must have been running out of ink, because the color was off and there were a few white lines on the paper.  I emailed Vistaprint as soon as I opened the package, and they were so nice and apologetic and put in an order right away.  I told them I had pictures I could send, but they said they trust their customers.  I got the new shipment 3 days later (luckily I was in no rush to get them out).  In the end, I was extremely happy with the product, experience of uploading my own design, and customer service.

I did the same and ordered STD post cards from Vista. I ordered the higher quality card which was only a few pound more. It cost about £23 for 50 postcards with the highest quality. The card was very thick, very glossy and very strong.

Only problem I had was that the order never arrived. Costumer service was great and sent out a new batch straight away. 3 weeks later the lost package arrived in my post box. It somehow made its way to Berlin and back again. That’s the post offices fault tho and not vista. So I ended up with double the amount of postcards. Haha!

kayeloh:  That’s one thing I have to say about them, all I ever hear is that they have super great customer service. The best tip is to order from them early so if something does have to be reprinted you have time without rushing. Considering how huge a company they are, I’m sure they’re not inspecting every order, so sometimes things do slip through. But they’re always about making it right… I had the same thing as you, I offered to show them pictures of the quality and they said no need! That’s trust!

Thanks for posting this it inspired me to do my RSVP carsd and info cards! was able to get 50 RSVP post cards and 150 (way more then I need) of my infor cards! I just put them as a business card for $22 shipped! I was trying to do them myself but these are SO much cuter! it took a while for me to get the back the way it needed to be becasue they dont have the template but it was worth it! I went the route of just regular post cards and changed the wordign to save money vs. using the wedding catagory! The price of everything goes up the word wedding is attatched!
