If its an allergy, take an antihistamine (sp??) that should at least help with the swollen and itchy part

Witch hazel will soak up oils in your skin that you’re reacting to. You can use it on your eyes. “NOT by squirting witch hazel in them, but by soaking a clean rag in witch hazel and cold water and placing the cold compress over your closed eyes.” Do it for like 10 minutes.

Yep Benadryl and cortisone are the best things OTC.  If that doesn’t workaim a day or so go to a doc for some steroids… Should work quickly though

Hey I work in the eye care buisness. Apply carefully cortizone to ure eyelid every 2 hours with a q- tip. Also cold compress every 30 min will help with itching n swelling.

Hey, I am allergic to benzol peroxide too, among other anti-pimple chemicals.  For awhile, I had zits on my face, and then developed eczema from trying to get rid of my zits. I was washing it too often, putting all sorts of stuff on my face. From the sounds of it, your eye lids are scaley from being too dry. Don’t do anything to your face for at least 1 week.  Don’t keep on washing it, etc, it will only irritate your skin further, the only time your face should touch water is when you shower. After one week, wash your face with oat meal or rub it with fresh piece of Aloe. Go natural, stop putting chemicals on it! My face is clear now, close to perfect! I don’t even have black heads.

My sister just did the same thing to her face with oxywhatever pads. She used the mushroom cream from Origins and the scaly stuff is all gone.
