I actually like the timeline too!!  I find it more visually appealing.  I tend to just ignore the people who complain about Facebook though

Probably just because fb is so viral these days…like texting or something. Plus, people generally share a lot of their lives on there, so day to day users are bound to be annoyed by changes in their routine, so to speak.

Personally, I just wish they would stick to one theme for a couple of years at least. I’m a fb addict in many ways haha 😛 But, change wouldn’t bother me at all if they could maybe just find one theme that works and let it run its course for a while. Also, I don’t know what’s awful about letting users pick between a few themes. At the end of the day, whatever, it doesn’t affect my life.

I am happy that myspace is apparently dead though. lol.

I switched to the timeline a while ago and it doesn’t really bother me.  Except when I become friends with someone or they post on my wall and it gets “highlighted”.  I just change it to be a more realistic size.

Darling Husband hates FB in general and I tell him to just delete his but he doesn’t want to be “that guy”. He loved myspace b/c you could be more creative with it.  He says FB is for the “uncreative” people….uhhh, like me!

I like Timeline. If you want total privacy anymore you have to go totally off the grid.

I am a facebook ranter. Some of us rant because we have been told that facebook pays attention and cares about what people think. I don’t like timeline but found a way to change it back )

I like Timeline, too. It took some getting used to but I think it’s just fine now.

I don’t understand the point of complaining, either. Use Facebook or don’t use it. Pretty simple. 🙂

I’m not a fan of the timeline, but it didn’t ruin my day or anything. For some people the world has come to an end, their bosses are going to see their FB and fire them and it is a conspiracy by FB to sell out our privacy. Put down the tin foil hats people, it’s just Facebook.

I know what you mean! But also, this free service relies on these people to use it to strive – I mean the owner is a billionaire. The least they can do is listen to the users and respect them. I love timeline now – what annoyed be about it was the change in privacy settings. It’s not as easy to just deactivate or stop using it.

I don’t mind timeline, but I don’t really use facebook much these days.

On a related note, my pet peeve: People who complain about online advertising. Websites need to make money somehow, especially if you invest hours and hours of work into it and it becomes your livelihood. You’re using a free service; granted, you do pay for an internet connection somehow, but that just grants you access to get online – You choose your own adventure from there. There’s a lot that goes into running a site, not just the editorial content.
