I know we all feel like we need one in this wedding planning!
I am having a bit of guilt as a dear friend of mine who has been such a tower of strength to me as my planning progresses is not within my bridal party 🙁
We work together just us two in an office and she has had alot of input for the styling of the day, sourcing vendors for me and generally been brilliant. I am trying to think of a special way to thank her on the day, as really she has been stronger than many of my BM’s have been for me.
I already have 4 BM’s who are my older sister and my 3 childhood friends.

You could get her a nice personal gift… Day together at the spa … Jewelry and a heartfelt thank you letter?

I had a good friend who, along with her husband, helped DH pull of his surprise proposal and helped me with some of the more tedious DIY projects.
However, my bridal party was set at 4, and they were closer, longer-term friends (or family). I wanted her and her husband to know we were grateful, so we included them in the rehearsal dinner and thanked them (and gave small gifts) when we did thank-yous and gifts for the bridal party/parents during the rehearsal dinner.
