Hmmm. Unless he stayed in the car/waited for you, no. My friend Nancy’s Dad was our chauffeur for her bachelorette- it was fine because he dropped us off at the bars then went and parked somewhere/picked us up later. If he’d been hanging out at the bars, that would have been incredibly awkward.

I think you’d have a much more enjoyable day if you pay someone else to drive you around.

@MrsFarm0619:  I could completely see my Future Father-In-Law offering to do this (and then my Future Mother-In-Law calling him by his full name and hitting him on the leg while giving him a pointed look). Sounds like he’s just trying to be helpful! I’m sure he’d understand if you let him know that you just wanted some girl time and that, while you’re grateful for the offer, you’d rather it just be you girls. Maybe if you act really guilty about putting him out, he’ll back off. That is kind of sweet of him to offer, though, even if it is a bit clueless!
