And I mean that in the most loving way!
Our wedding is about 20 hrs from where we live. This is where we are from and all our family is and where we want to be married. We are taking 2 weeks to go home for our wedding. The first week will be the last minute things that we can’t do until we are there. The second week we are going to spend a few days relaxing and then doing some touristy type things.
For a wedding gift we got a nights stay with dinner and breakfast at a really nice place that is a few hours from our house. We had decided that we woud use it on our way back home. I was going to book it this weekend.
So this morning we are in bed talking before Fiance goes to work. I told him that I realized yeserday that a few days after our wedding will be my time of the month.
So now he doesn’t want to do the overnight stay. He says that how can we have a romantic evening if we can’t do anything. I tried to tell him we could still have a nice night.
I’m kind of sad and wish I hadn’t of told him this info.

Wow, honestly if it’s dark I’m not even sure if guys would know the difference except afterward when cleaning up.

You can still so stuff…
Are you on the pill? Ask your doctor about skipping the off week and continuing. I was on a tri-cyclin type, so I just took the third (strongest) week twice – it wasted a whole pack of bc on one week, but pushed my perios back until after the honeymoon.

@melodicsighs1: That is the type I use, maybe I’ll look into that. I didn’t even think of that. Thanks

Is there a specific timeframe you have to book or can you use the free night whenever? I know it’s a few hours from where you live, but could you maybe book it for a little later on, like your one month anniversary or something?
My Fiance doesn’t like to do things during that time of the month and I’d personally like to have the option to be intimate during a romantic evening away, so if I were you, I’d just plan to enjoy a night away in a month or two.

@Mrs.RDV: Yeah, just make sure you take the third week twice instead of starting at the beginning of a pack because the lower does may still make you spot and it could mess with the effectiveness.

@iheartnerds: It doesn’t expire but in the new year the places we can use it at will change. And when we get back it will be hunting season for him, so good luck to me on getting a night away until December!
@melodicsighs1: Yes I did the third week to the first week once and that was just a mess.
