Now you are totally set for Thanksgiving- no need to roast a turkey when you can eat chocolate for dinner! : )

I’m afraid to put any “joke” gifts on mine. His family would go out and buy it just so they can put the joke on me.

crackktheskyy:  There is nothing about this that doesn’t utterly delight me. Your fiance is superb.

I want a 3lb chocolate turkey.

On eof my friends’ now husbands added mac & cheese to their Target Registry. She just left it on there, too. I am not sure if anyone bought them that or not.

My Fiance would have been all over Terrance if he’d found him. In fact, he probably would have registered for 2. You know, a his and her’s.

I have to regularly check our registries to weed out the stuff that my Fiance adds. My most recent deletion included 6 fox shaped pepper shakers in various colors….six. All pepper. No salt. Foxes.

crackktheskyy: Your FI’s arguments were amazing! He had me at Terrance, and I like where his head is at with the one serving. I’ve found that giving things adorable names is very persuasive with my husband ๐Ÿ™‚

We did our registeries online, and my husband didn’t have access to them. I did ask him if he wanted me to add anything though, and he wanted steak knives and a knife block. I told him to pick them out and send me the link…He sent me an $800 knife/block set. We didn’t expect to receive it, but he’s still a bit dissapointed that we didn’t get it.

FutureMrsBex:  That sounds like something my husband would want to do. We have two cats, and he’s always finding new ways to “torture” them (usually invovles dressing them in something random). I had a roomba when I adopted the cats a few years ago, and they were frightened of it. It was pretty entertaining.

That is hilarious! I’ve been tempted to register for some crazy stuff, but I’m trying to control myself because the Fiance and I are in desperate need of actual kitchen and living items and I thought it would be in poor taste to register for the giant horse wall decal from Bed Bath & Beyond.

bsquared:  I’m sure it had a lot more to do with the price tag, but I think some people believe it’s supposed to be “bad luck”  to give knives as a wedding present.  I’ve heard this one more than once from the older generation.

crackktheskyy:  Target. The salt shakers were the same as the pepper ones, only with more holes.

The real kicker…I’ve literally never seen him add pepper to anything. Ever.

weddingmaven:  Interesting. I hadn’t heard that before. I did laugh about the price with some friends after adding them to the registry, but the ones who were married also admitted that knives were one of their favorite and most used wedding presents.

ren89:  When one of my close friends got married a few years ago, she printed out that story and gave it and a metal chicken to her husband as one of her wedding presents to him. The chicken was not as big as Beyonce though, and she did get him a nice watch as well ๐Ÿ™‚

crackktheskyy:  lol hilarious!  I think he certainly won the argument…Terrance is an awesome name afterall AND that price is a steal!  Fiance (hubby now) registered for Battleship and guess what…we got it.  We played it on our honeymoon!
