Part of the fun of taking a trip for me is the anticipation. I love looking at all the things I want to do and places I want to visit. I feel like I would be missing out if I had no idea where we were going. It would suck.
Also, this may be the pessimist in me, but what if a worst-case senario occured and something went wrong? If he plans the entire thing himself, the guilt he could feel might be overwhelming. Darling Husband would take it very personally, even if I didn’t blame him at all. Although in that situation, some resentment would be a very natural reaction.

I voted keep it a surprise. He could give you clues though so you’d know what to pack. i.e., tropical, mountains, city, casual, etc.

I’d want a rough idea of where we were going so I could know what to pack.

I think it would be awesome to be surprised. maybe he can send you and your girly’s out and he can pack your bags for you (if you trust him with that.) Or he can leave you with a little lsit of stuff to pack. I think that would be amazing..

Ohh I would love a surprise honeymoon!
Granted I might just be saying that because I know it would never, ever happen. So far I’ve done almost all of the travel planning in our relationship. But just imagining having it all happen without having to make it happen… yeah that sounds nice!
Sigh… I guess we need to plan more surprises for each other! It always seems kind of silly and time-wasting at first, but the truth is I LOVE them!

I’m a control freak, it would KILL me! But i think it would be awesome (FI is a great review-reader/holiday planner) for him to say “we’re going to a beach, and you won’t know which one until we’re in the air!”. Sory, that probably doesnt help any lol
