I wouldn’t stress too much. A two-second glance at a photo is way different than YOU wearing the dress, with hair, makeup, and accessories, in person.

LOL! It’s not a big deal, trust me. Like the PP said, the quick glance that he probably got is not going to influence his reaction on your wedding day at all.
After our wedding, my DH confessed he’d seen a picture of me in my dress before the wedding, too. And you know what? It didn’t matter at all.

I’m going to give you the advice I was given on the boards when my Fiance saw my actual dress (I left the bag open… gaaah!).
1. Most guys will see “white dress” and not much else. Now, while I know my Fiance has a greater than average attention to detail, this might yet be the case for your Fiance.
2. It’s months until the wedding. Try to think about if you caught a 2-second look at something and had to describe it a week later… probably not going to stick that well.
3. He could get to study a picture of you in the dress intently… it still wouldn’t look the same as your beautiful self on your wedding day!
Get whatever veil you like and don’t worry about him seeing the picture.

My DH caught an accicental glimpse of a picture of my dress before the big day and he literally remembered no details. He thought it had sleeves when it was strapless and that it was very plain even though it had a ton of beading on it! My DH gasped when he saw me in my dress and was convinced I changed it since he saw the picture… which I hadn’t! Your Fiance probably didn’t even notice the train, even though you find it so dramatic and memorable. He will be completely surprised still when he sees you in it the day of! Don’t sweat it!

Now that I’m thinking about it, DH got a two-second glance of a printout of my dress from the website. After I FLIPPED out on him, I realized that I was going for a significantly different look from the model (and have a different figure), and that little black-and-white picture had very little representation to my look for the wedding day.

He’s a man. He probably already forgot what it looks like so you really shouldn’t stress yourself out over it. I showed DH pictures of me IN my actual dress and it was as if he saw it for the first time on our wedding day. Guys will NEVER remember the little details. All he saw was that it was a long white dress which he probably could have figured out on his own anyway.

I can’t imagine he would remember, and it will definitely look different on you IRL.
