My fiance is pretty laid back when it comes to my personal style. He thinks I do everything right I guess! (I’ll just keep telling myself that…)
He HATES french braids. He thinks they look like reptiles…? hahaha. He likes regular braids, a lot actually. It’s just french braids.
Ladies, is there anything in particular (beauty-related for women) that your fiance can’t stand? Was it something you would have considered for your wedding day and feel like you have to work around?

My fiance HATES makeup. Hates it. I went to beauty school (at night) while working on my undergrad. I looooove makeup.
He specifically hates setting powder, be it translucent or not.

He hates lip gloss. And especially the glitter/shiny ones that gets glitter on him. So..I didn’t wear any glittery gloss on our wedding day..but I’m not going to stop wearing lip gloss lol.

He’s very opinionated and tells me if he doesn’t like something. He’s told me he didn’t like a particuliar pink color of nail polish I once wore, he’s doesn’t like baggy pants and have to be form fitting, he hates short hair and has asked me to not cut it (I love my long hair and don’t ever plan to. I once cut 3 inches off due to bad split ends and he freaked out). I’m happy he has opinion and tells me I look pretty or if he thinks something isn;t flattering on me.
During the week I dress pretty casually (shorts or yoga pants and t-shirts) and get a bit more dressy on the weekend when we spend more time together.

I think the exact quote was: “the bigger the bump it the bitchier she’ll be”.
I called him out on that and he admitted he was joking. But he definitely hates the look!

False lashes. I mentioned getting them for Halloween and he freaked out. He doesn’t like when people wear a lot of makeup either, so it’s good that I like to do natural looking makeup. And for some reason he hates bangs. I was thinking of cutting bangs after the wedding and he got very upset.

Mine hates perfumes, but I’m deathly allergic to them anyway so not a problem. My allergies are bad enough that they dictate what he can use for soap/shampoo/shaving cream/deodorant if he still wants to touch me. Sometimes I wonder if it bothers him. He always says that he’s just glad the I don’t smell like the lush store.

…tattoos …overly bleached / damaged hair …anything obviously unnatural …lots of makeup He always compliments my long hair and asks me to never color it. I am starting to get grey hairs, though, so I can’t promise him that.

My husband hates lipstick with a passion… he told me if I would have worn it on our wedding day, he wouldn’t have kissed me.

He hates tulle, rhinestones/sequins and plasticy/beading on dresses, which works because I do too, he hates tattoos, dislikes traditional pump closed toed heels, oh and when girls or really anyone wears sweats/pajama pants in public; he thinks it looks trashy. Oh and when girls don’t wear clothes that fit right in the way that they’re too tight and they have muffin tops or buldges and refuse to wear the size they should be wearing. He also hates the suedey looking yoga suits in public with a passion, especially if they have something written on the butt. He’s very picky with the look of wedding dresses, but it’s okay because so am I and they just happen to be basically the same! phew. haha He has a whole set of dislikes on guys too. lol

He hates lots of makeup and anything on the lips. He likes the look on other people or when he doesn’t have to kiss me, but he hates the taste and feel. Luckily I just discovered the Revlon Just Bitten Kissables which are chaptstick-y at first but turn into just a stain. He doesn’t mind those as long as I blot before I kiss him.

When I wear lipstick, when I cut my hair, and when I dye my hair.
