It doesn’t matter why he is the way he is. He is too huge of a problem to be your burden. Congratulations on your new, fresh life!

I’m glad you left! That was all around a horrible situation! Relax and enjoy being out of that shithole (literally) haha then kick him out since he is not on the lease this will be easy but I would definitely have the cops help.

confusedandscared:  GOOD FOR YOU!!! I’m applauding you and your sister!

Seriously never look back. That filth is a serious part of his psychology and the only way to stay in that is for you to be dragged down into accepting it. Screw that! This is your LIFE your talking about. Pick someone who’s not going to make you literally sick.

As a self-proclaimed slob, your now ex-FI is disgusting. So glad you left!! Better (smelling) things are ahead for you!

confusedandscared:  Good for you girlfriend. I know how hard this is for you because I’ve had to leave someone before as well (we were together 7 years) but I promise after some time you will feel so much better. We are all here for you and even tho I’m just an Internet stranger, I am super proud that you stood up for yourself and made a decision that was hard but was what was best for you (and the dogs!). That took balls and you have big balls, lady!

Keep your chin up, you are worth so much more than this.

confusedandscared:  Your sister is awesome and so are you.  Every day away from him and the mess around him will be a step towards a brighter and better future.  Take good care of yourself – as your self-esteem rebuilds you will drift further from thoughts of a reunion with him.

Wishing you all the best.  Keep in touch!

Nope. He’s disgusting. Everything you listed absolutely should be a deal breaker.

confusedandscared:  I am so happy to hear you have such a supportive sister and that you were smart enough to lean on her. Be careful to guard your best interests when it comes to assets like the apartment, and just to be cautious, it might be a good idea to consult a lawyer just to make sure  you have your bases covered.

I have to say, those moments with your sister were truly revealing. Men using the “c” word is one of the most obvious ways to show disrespect for women in general. This man was emotionally manipulative and many would say abusive toward you. He USED you.

So he might learn to clean up after himself one day, but he will only be hiding deeper what is a truly manipulative, uncaring soul.

I am very happy to see you got out of this situation before you had kids with this “man” and please, please focus on staying away and taking care of yourself.

HELL. YES. You absolutely did the right thing and don’t you dare question that! You will find someone who buys you flowers AND rubs your feet AND respects you enough not to put your physical and mental health at risk by living in complete filth. You deserve this.

I was pretty annoyed to see the same dirty plate from last night sitting next to my SO’s computer, but after reading this shit he deserves a freakin’ medal.
