Eeek.  That sucks.  Especially since it’s his brother.  Part of me wants to be like “meh, brother can come on his own” but the other part know that if I were the girlfriend, I’d need him around at such an important time.

I don’t think your horrible to want your Future Brother-In-Law there.

I get it….selfishly it’s just not the best timing, and of course Fiance is going to be bummed to not have his brother there 🙁

Hopefully he can still be included in other aspects? Like maybe the bachelor party or if you’re doing a couple’s shower?

Aw, I’m sorry for you and Fiance that he’ll likely have to miss his brother at the wedding. I had to have a Bridesmaid or Best Man step down after finding out she was due shortly after our wedding as well. We had a family friend skype her in to the ceremony over the phone so she could watch the whole thing from her homestate 🙂 Although it’s obviously not the same, you could leave the bro in the wedding/programs, have a mention of him in the program as being at home celebrating from afar while welcoming their child soon, etc. and arrange for Fiance to have a skype chat with him before the cereomony and also let him watch it real-time.

Babies are pretty awesome, and while I know how bummed I was when we had our Bridesmaid or Best Man step down, try to be excited on the love that they share for you two and the love you’ll soon have for a little niece or nephew 🙂
