@sbottiani:  I would call the mother, explain to her the situation, and ask for their contact number. All you have to say is that your guest list has been set and you can not accomidate this guest.

@sbottiani:  Haha honestly, what are people thinkng? It is humurous in a way, but also really annoying. I would not stand for it! Definitely contact the mother and get your friend’s phone number or email.

how’d they get the invite?

….that’s how you get a hold of them, and tell them “no 4th guest allowed” (nicely of course)

Wow, some people are beyond rude.  Do they think that they can invite as many people as they like? Nuts.

Call the mother and get the contact info…and then stay strong.  Good luck!

That sucks. You need to find a way to contact them and tell them you cannot accommodate an uninvited guest under any circumstances.

This makes anxious/ excited for when we get ours back (wont go out for months still). I cant wait to see who does what!!

Your caterer might price the kids differently? I dont know the age cut off for ours but kids are all $15

Yeah, I would do the same thing if little John cost the same as Uncle Phil

Sometimes I think that unless you’ve planned a wedding you don’t see the importance of these things.

Maybe it’s the babysitter for the baby?  Some people do that – they don’t want to leave the baby at home, but they don’t want to watch the baby the whole night.  Perhaps they just expected the babysitter and the baby to stay at the table while they enjoyed the night, but without being away from their baby?  I mean, I don’t have kids so I don’t do this lol.. but I’m just saying.. or maybe an Out of Town guest that they’re hosting that weekend and they figured they could just add that person on?

Either way, it’s rude and I don’t think that people just “don’t know any better” – I think they do what they want and don’t care.

That is so tacky and I would talk to them and tell them that you simply dont have room for anyone else.

I dont know how people think its ok to just add a bunch of people and think its ok.
