What a gorgeous dress! I would keep your next appointment so you have peace of mind that you really shopped around, but I don’t think anything will beat that dress!

@goldfish2308:  Honestly, I really don’t like that it looks like two wholly different dresses parsed together. 🙁 The shape of the dress is lovely on your figure, though.

ETA: So, I actually like the unique sequin pattern of the bodice, but I couldn’t find a similar style. I do have some dresses, though:

@goldfish2308:  omg, is this L&H Bridal???? i got my dress here…hahahaha!!!! Anyway, back to more important stuff. I think the dress is really unique but I don’t really know how I feel about the stripes and ruffles on the same dress. What’s important is how YOU feel in it though because the dress should be a reflection of who you are and what kind of bride you envision yourself to be, so if you think this dress speaks that, then go ahead and get it! Otherwise, keep your appointment at the next salon and try on a few more just so you have a peace of mind. 🙂

@goldfish2308:  YEP!!! The first time I went was during an Enzoani trunk show but my mom was out of the country then, so it was just my sister with me…They were offering a 15% discount that day but I couldn’t decide and needed a couple of days (and my consultant Annette wouldn’t let me take pictures – so it’s great yours did!), so I could only show my mom the internet pictures and she asked me to go ahead and buy it since the salon said they were willing to make an exception for the discount for me. I bought it and when it came in, my mom and I went to see it. The lady Danielle was really sweet and said that if I missed my dress, I could always come back to visit her! So, a Bridesmaid or Best Man of mine from Greece came last week and we went to see it…AGAIN…I know the salon like the back of my hand now…lol. Did you go during their MS trunk show? Danielle is awesome!

@goldfish2308:  I know! I didn’t like Annette, but thank goodness, I don’t have to deal with her anymore. I’ve been going to Danielle eversince because she’s so sweet! Where’s your next appointment? You can also try Irini’s if you’re willing to drive down to DE. My lesson learned from purchasing at L&H is that wedding gowns are taxable in PA!!! i’d assumed ALL clothing was tax-free! Oh well!

@MlleFabuleux:  With you on this one – it looks like the dress is trying to be glamorous Deco column and romantic lace mermaid at the same time.

OP, I would try on more dresses. It’s so easily to get overwhelming and think you love a dress from your first appointment. You have a lovely figure and a lot of dresses are going to look beautiful on you, so keep looking – you might surprise yourself!

I think your dress is gorgeous!  It’s really different, but very flattering and pretty.

By The Way, are you going to do the sash or no sash?  I think the flower sash helps unify the look a little bit more.

I think the dress is trying to be 2 different things at the same time, gatsbyish at the top and romantic tulle on the bottom.

You have such a terrific figure that I think there are many more dresses that would better on you 🙂

@goldfish2308:  I think it’s nice and it suits your figure! It does remind me of the Sottero dress Gatsby. Both your dress and the Gatsby one are very unusual and very pretty. I really like dresses that don’t look the same as everyone else’s dress. If you decide that you really want this dress but can’t afford it new, definitely start looking on the preowned sites or consider getting a replica done.
