This is my first attempt at my Bridal DIY hair style. Its amazing what a handfull of bobby pins will do. What do you ladies think? Oh and the red is a clip in extension piece? keep it or toss it? My colors are black and red.

I love all the curls – super cute – and I’m impressed that you did it yourself. I’d be curious to see a photo from the front (to see how the curls frame your face).
I personally don’t like the red, but that’s just me.

Curls look great! Would love to see a pic from the front. Not a fan of the red extentions

It looks really good; much better than I could ever do. I am also not a fan of the red extension. To me, they are too bold, but really it depends on the look/feel you are going for for your wedding.

I would toss the red. But everything else is cute

@future.mrs.campfield: The curls look great. Did they hold? Do you have a pic from the front. I agree with milesbella, not a huge fan of the red.

I would definitely toss the red. I love the hairstyle, but I think it would be beautiful if it were all the darker shade, instead of the dark/medium brown combo! Good job though!

It looks great! Although personally, I’d lose the red clip-ins and switch out the fish clips on the top for bobby pins.

I do like the red ribbon, but looks like I am in the minority. It adds subtle flair and (I suspect) a bit of your personality?

i like it as well, you should put a tutorial out for this style!, but I don’t like the red either. Like lefeymw, I assumed it was a part of your personality. 🙂

It looks awesome but I would replace the two black clips with something more sparkly and wedding-ish. Gemstone type of clips if you can find any. Unless you are wearing a veil thingy but it seems like one wouldn’t really fit/go on that hair! Are you?
As for the red, it’s not my style, but if it’s your style then do it:) Be YOU on your day.
Also, I’m not having a big wedding but if I were, I would do my hair like I normally have it on any given day. I remember reading that in a mag one time and it made sense to me. Why do something all crazy and different on a day where a million pics are going to be taken and you will remember it for the rest of your life? If you normally wear your hair down, then do it down on your wedding day…and vice versa if you wear it up a lot. Just my 2 cents.
