I think its a great idea, but the black in the middle is just too dark.  Its just like a hole in the middle.  Maybe mix in some gray with it or something?  Or have you considered all white flowers?

Wow! You did get busy didn’t you! I think they will be beautiful. I would see if you can fill in the fireplace with a piece of plywood or foamcore and cover the whole area with flowers.

Those are huge and awesome! I made poppies out of feather flowers (eggshell petals, black center) and my mom thought the center was too black too. I thought they looked fine, just like yours! I think that some people will think its odd and others will love it.

just keep in mind how many it will take, and how long you have to store them for!  And that you’ll have to dust them.

I think the black is taking up too much space, compared to the anemones I googled. Also, I saw some with yellow middles, and with all different colored petals, if you feel like throwing in pops of color and had never seen different colored anemones before (not trying to say you’re ignorant on the flower or anything – I only knew of anemones as a sea creature until this post).
