What I am going to do is go to my favorite SPA 3 days before the wedding and have them tint my eyelashes! No need for mascara(and no runny mess) for a few weeks! Sweeeet!

Welcome to the Hive!

I’m getting lash extensions, so I probably won’t need any mascara.

I had them for my e-pics and loved the way they show up in pictures.  It was a Groupon offer.

My go-to waterproof mascara for normal wear-and-tear is Maybelline Lash Blast in the orange tube.  Works great for me.

Wear falsies and Blinc mascara. Blinc is one of those “tube” mascaras, that puts “tubes” on your lashes instead of just coating them (seriously, it does. When you wash it off, you can actually see the little tubes). This stuff doesn’t budge, seriously. The only thing is it isn’t a very dramatic mascara, that is why I recommend wearing falsies too! 🙂

Eek!  You’ll be married in less than a month!  I’ve had my eyelashes tinted a few times – it does sting a little! Do be aware that they don’t make your eyes look like they have mascara on – they don’t add any bulk/shape/definition (though they obviously do make them darker!).  I agree that Maybelline waterproof mascaras are good – better even than more expensive ones I’ve tried.  Remember to take some oil based make up wipes though!

I can’t recommend a waterproof mascara (I haven’t found one that blows my mind) but I CAN say:

-don’t bother trying CoverGirl NatureLuxe waterproof mascara. It does not survive crying.

-don’t forget to protect the rest of your makeup! Urban Decay All-Nighter setting spray really helps your makeup last and protects it from sweat and tears. Just make sure you apply it after applying all your other makeup but BEFORE applying your mascara, since it sometimes makes your mascara transfer onto your cheeks if you spray it on afterward.

Can’t recommend a good mascara but I just bought a Stila waterproof liquid eyeliner and let me tell you that thing will not budge for tears! I’d imagine they’d have a mascara of the same quality. (From Sephora)

Welcome to the Hive!

I did a poll recently asking what everyone’s fav mascara was. Hands down, the most popular was Dior Show and Benefit They’re Real. I went out and got both and LOVE both! I’ve also used Latisse and it worked fabulous but you would need more then 3 weeks to see results.

I work outdoors: sun, snow, or pouring rain. So I need mascara that will not budge no matter how much my eyes water or how much it rains in my face.

I recently switched from the CoverGirl mascaras (orange and yellow containers), to someting pricier from Sephora: Clinique’s Lash Power Mascara and it’s worth every penny.

Like @deathbydesign suggested, it’s a tubing mascara and is amazingly waterproof, plus it really offers length, volume and glossy shine to my lashes with one coat.  And it comes in a brown tone much better for my colouring than black.
