Honestly? I don’t understand the picture. What kind of wedding are you having? Also, where would you put the text? Are there any other pictures you’re considering? Are you set on using a picture for your invitation or would you consider a blank space to put text with a design on the perimeter?

Oh ok good to know! It’s cute if you’re having a casual wedding, which it sounds like you are. Are there any other pics you’re considering?

I personally think it’s too informal for a wedding invitiation.  I think it would be a really cute STD, though!

I have to agree with @redheadem…the bride and groom seem to be awkward, and the image is also maybe not the most clear. I didn’t even notice the date at the top (but now that I do – I’m also getting married on that day!).

You could probably do something really really cool with that idea of the etching in the tree and the banner flags. IDK if you would want to go that simple or not, but it would clean up the card a lot.

Lord knows I love an illustrated invitation, made my own for our wedding, too ๐Ÿ™‚

I think this one is cute, and a good start on where you want to take your project.

It looks a little informal for my personal taste, but I have absolutely no clue what the style of your wedding is. Just keep in mind that the invitation sets the tone. If I got this, I would probably wear a sundress or casual dress as oppose to cocktail attire.

It’s cute, and I think once it’s all polished up it has the potential to be a really appropriate invite for a casual, lakeside affair.

My only question: Aren’t all those colors and gradients going to cost a fortune to print?

Also, because it is such a casual, cute picture, I would definitely print them on SUPER nice cardstock. For some reason in my mind, I picture this printed on a piece of regular printer paper and sort of cringe, like it’s an invitation to a children’s birthday party.

I think it is very cute and fitting for your wedding theme.  If I got this in the mail I would expect the day was going to be fun
