My wedding is a year away, but I have been trying to hit up the gym at least 3 times a week. I want to lose a good 15 pounds and gain some muscle before my wedding. However, none of my friends want to join a gym and it’s hard when my fiancé sits at home and snacks on junk food in front of me! For me, the motivation is someone telling me to get off the couch and go. Once I am gone that is motivation enough.

I have been a huge slacker recently on MFP, so I am probably not equipped to give advice on that 🙂 I’ve been going 5x a week to group exercise classes at the gym, though, and I think it’s a great way to push yourself out of your workout comfort zone. Plus, you get to know the people and they can help hold you accountable if you skip! If you want to tone it’s especially good to find some that incorporate both cardio and weights.
