lawandbeauty53: Ring Bearer moissanites do not have extra facets, they have 57 like most diamond RBs and are even close in measurements to them. It is just their are some slight differences in proportions as the “ideal cut” for a moissanite varies from the “ideal cut” for a diamond.

I think it’s a very pretty stone, but in all honesty I can tell that there’s a difference with the facets (there are more facets in a round Moissanite). I worked for a jewelry store though, so I do have a trained eye. I think to the every day person on the street it would be hard to tell the difference though, especially if they’re not right up on it.

RayKay: There are actually more facets in a round moissanite. I want to say about 12-15 more.

Congrats on your stone!! I hope you will love it forever 🙂 I’ve had them all lol and I have the Amora Ultra for over a year now and it is simply gorgeous. I’m glad to hear you love the cut of the Mossy because it’s what is truly different about the two. I was gifted my late mother’s wedding rings few weeks ago with GIA certification and I can not tell the difference. Even the sparkle and colors are seen in my mother’s ring. I was quite impressed I must say. There is no yellowing or green tints, has this been played out of the F1?
I’ll post the pic so I’ve later you decide to upgrade the Amora is a very very beautiful diamond like stone. Mine is 1.4 CT G my mother’s is the 3 sroned

Its so pretty! I have been eyeing the forever one. I don’t think people will be able to tell it not diamond just because most people see a clear white stone and automaticaly think diamond.
As an aside I have been lurking on these boards forever and I know what Moissy is and I still couldn’t tell when I saw it in person. After studying it for a while (like longer than the average stranger would look at your ring) I could kind of tell it was a bit glassier or something but even then it was really pretty. I think its easier to be able to tell in pics because its so much larger although I still can never tell.
