@VirginiaR:  Not sure where you are located but I have a friend in Northern California that is just starting her photography business. She does amazing work.

@VirginiaR:  Look on Craigslist for photography students or people just starting to build their portfolios..they usually charge very low. On another point, hanging up on her was probably not the best way to get this resolved. How did she plan on being your photographer AND bridesmaid? Personally I would have her as neither at this point since she proved to fail you in this time crunch. Get to research asap!

Look on Craigslist and the WeddingBee Classifieds. Good luck to you!! Also, if neither of those work, contact local universities and see if they have photography students or programs willing to do it? I really hope it works out for you!

@VirginiaR:  Trust me, we all feel that way even if it’s just for a second…for me, it wasn’t just for a second. 😉 haha. Good luck!!

If you are in northern california, I would go to the cal expo show on sunday. If a photographer is free for your day – they may be willing to give you a good deal on pictures. I’ve been able to get some good rates becuase of my March date. I’m going to be looking for a dj that weekend too. In my opinion if they aren’t booked yet – they probably wont be so you can work that to your advantage.

as much fun as having a pro photographer was- I swear some of the BEST photos were done by my mates- consider going the little camera route and asking everything to pitch in and take zillions of photos- you can create your own KODAK picture spots and let them snap away.  Make it an adventure instead of a let down- just a thought
