It might be a reaction to the flea medication , is it Hartz? that stuff ended up poisoning our kitty and she was in the emerg vet for 2 days . Not trying to make you worry more but to look into it.

Either way I am sending positive vibes!!! +++++++++

I’m sorry you’re going through this. I am actually going through the same thing. I was in the emergency vet with my cat last night until midnight. Our little guy was throwing up & had diahrrea Friday night but was doing better Saturday so we didn’t take him to the vet. Sunday afternoon comes and it starts all over again but worse. We ended up taking him and after 4 hours and xrays & blood work- they are pretty sure he has something stuck in his intestines. I’m hoping your’s isn’t going through the same thing because it’s dangerous. I’d get him to the vet as soon as can so if it is something they can start medicine & treatment started.

@UpstateCait: The whole vet thing is kind of odd.  Whenever my furbaby is really sick, they let me bring him in right away.  Sometimes vets have surgeries in the mornings and if they are short staffed maybe no one is available, but it would still bother me that I couldn’t get the help I needed.

Good thoughts your way, we always fear the worst especially when we google stuff about our own health and animal health.  Hang in there, it really could just be an upset tummy.  I know my furbaby does NOT do well whenever we leave town for a couple days and stays with my Mom.  He doesn’t want to eat when we get home, sometimes has an upset stomach and is generally very emotional and needs lots of love and attention.

Hoping it’s just a tummy ache.

@UpstateCait: It could be some sort of virus.  Is he drinking water at all?  He may be dehydrated and that’s why he was lethargic.  Keep us posted!

@UpstateCait: Milk is such a fickle thing with cats!! I’m really happy to hear everything is fine and that your little guy is as healthy as can be!

We feed our cat milk on a regular basis, so he has never had a problem, but I have heard that if it’s not consistent enough, problems can occur. Luckily it’s nothing life threatening! πŸ™‚
