I have a type of cluster e-ring and I loooooove it! It’s a double halo in a flower design. The center stone is 0.33 ct and the entire thing is 0.75 ctw. So it’s a really large setting. I love the complexity of multiple stones and the sparkle it gives off. There are MANY amazing cluster rings on these boards but I am sure most bees will tell you that a solitaire center is the way to go. It’s classic! I prefer the solitaire idea as well, but I wish clusters were more appreciated ๐Ÿ˜‰

I have a right-hand ring that looks like the cluster in your ring. I love it so much and actually wear it as an e-ring sometimes when I feel like like a more delicate bling ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Here are both:

I prefer the look of solitares and would, if necessary, choose a smaller solitare over a larger cluster. In this case it sounds like it’s going to be the same size anyway, so it seems a very intuitive choice, unless you personally prefer the look of a cluster.

Pretty ring! I think it would look best as a solitaire.

i agree with the ladies above. i think solitaire would look amazing. i personally do not care for clusters, but it’s ultimately your decision! good luck and let us know which one you choose! ๐Ÿ™‚

Clusters are very much an aquired taste, I have a square cluster [princess setting], and I LOVE it.

The style of the cluster ring is beautiful, but I really, really don’t like quads/clusters, so I’d go with the solitaire.

    I’d go solitaire.

I’m DEFINITELY anti-cluster and think it would look much more attractive with a solitaire stone.

I would take a Solitaire over a Cluster anyday.  But, really, it comes down to what you prefer.

Which do you prefer? I have a cluster and I love that it’s a bit unique, and it sparkles like crazy Smile. I’m not too fond of diamond solitaires; they’re too common for me.

Here’s my baby (1.18ct I1, GHI set in 18K yellow & white gold)

@alsgirl:  I think go for a solitaire as that cluster is not very well designed and made.

beautiful setting though!!! By The Way I am not anti cluster as I own one…..but I do think quality workmanship is the key to a good cluster!

I have a cluster. Like pp said they aren’t the most popular but if you love it then go for it.
