I love the pet posts, the doxies are the cutest ones I’ve seen 🙂

I love my pets but there is no way they will behave in a ceremony. Maybe you could incorporate them in the photos and then have someone drive them back home!!

Omg, too cute!  I don’t know how to incorporate them though.  A friend of mine had a cute golden retriever.  She dressed him up in a tux, took a picture, framed it and put the frame on her table.  It was cute.  Another one had a very well trained yellow lab, she had him be the ring bearer.

We had ours in our ceremony!  A chocolate lab mix and a puggle.  They were our ring bearers 🙂

Great pictures of the dogs ladies. My fiance has asked about having our girls, which we commonly refer to as our “daughters”, at our wedding. I laughed at first thinking he was joking. He goes “Whats wrong with that?” Ok so I get that he’s serious and it’s reasonable as they’re part of our family and it would be very reasonable too since I’m a HUGE ole animal lover, but I just don’t want to worry about them all day and to have to assign someone to them that aren’t familar with our girls. This would be a problem because Georgia- the lab and youngest- is hard headed and only listens to a handful of people. The eldest and calmest- Daisy- was abused as a pup and doesn’t trust but around 3 people (my mom, my fiance, and myself), even though everyone that comes in contact with her tries really hard. My poor dad has gotten down in the floor with her (something I don’t remember him doing since I was a kid!), but he has such a booming voice that she just can’t get past it. She REALLY doesn’t like men and gets scared around them. She would freak out with all the people staring at her, not to mention if someone made a loud noise or moved quickly.. the dog would be a nervous wreck by the end of the day. Of course there is a whole liability thing that you’d have to go into as well, which is a whole other story (stained carpet anyone?)

Daisy approx 1.5-2yrs (unsure as no one knew her age)

Georgia at about 15wks, currently 25wks- excuse the creppy eyes, her mommy doesn’t know how to take a decent picture without the flash

We’re definitely incorporating our 2 dogs (3 & 6 yr old yorkies) in the ceremony!  Of course since we’re getting married on a farm, we have it a little easier than most.  Afterwards, we’ll probably keep them in a pen by the reception barn.  I don’t think they’d act up at the reception itself, but they’re too small to be running around under people’s feet.  They’d either get stepped on or trip someone!  We haven’t decided what they’ll wear yet, but Romie already has an ensemble from his Chippendale days at my friend’s bachelorette party:
