try again to post the photo. also… maybe **hint** to him that he could give you something else as a wedding gift that you could wear? Like a necklace?

Maybe he can have a band made that matches the wedding band from your grandmother’s set. That way you won’t have to break up your grandmother’s set, you get a ring from your Fiance, and it all can be worn together (one band on either side of the engagement ring).

ohhh, I like the 3 band idea!  If it would look right, you should just do that.

How lucky you are to have your grandmother’s set! If you can’t find anything to match, I wouldn’t split the set. However, if you have your heart set on a ring from Fiance, perhaps you could hint for a right hand ring, like Mrs. Mary Jane recieved. Or maybe wear the set on the right hand, and have your Fiance get you a simple wedding band.

Ooooh, that’s gorgous!

I’m having a hard time envisioning the set, do you like them together? If you do, then I’d say go for that! And maybe ask Fiance if he could get you a little something else, like a right hand ring, necklace, etc.

I think that’d look perfect with a band like this:

I used a diamond from a ring my grandmother had and I am using the wedding band that was my great grandmothers.  I plan to hint to Fiance that I want an anniversary band maybe as wedding present or some time down the line that would be from him and would go well with the set I already have.

I like the idea of a second band as an anniversary gift later down the road. Or perhaps your Fiance could engrave the current band for you so it feels more like it’s from him?
