Aw that’s awful.  Sorry for your loss.  Such a sad and happy day.  Must have been a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions.  I’m sure she would have definately wanted the wedding to go ahead and she would be happy that that are now married. Your sister has no reason to feel guilty.  xx

unicornphish:  I’m sorry for your loss.  This is so good for us all to remember:

We still managed to have a good time at the reception, and it was nice that everyone was together. . . Live your life and love your family.

unicornphish:  thank you so much for having the strength to share this with us. i always also had the fear that my grandmother (who is elderly and having health problems) wouldn’t make it to our wedding day, which would have devastated me since she was so excited to see me get married. fortunately, all went well. we had other snafus that stressed us out, but nothing to this depth, so this definitely helps put things into perspective. i appreciate you sharing your story, and sincere condolencens to your family.

She had a full and hopefully beautiful and fullfilling life. I wish all of your family the best. I’m glad you still had a good time – I’m sure your granny would love that to happen. Blessings to your family.

unicornphish:  Thank you for telling us about this day – though I cannot imagine experiencing it myself. Thank you also for putting me back into perspective of what’s important about a wedding. God bless your family. xox

So sorry for your loss. your sister shouldn’t feel guilty – she has 29 years worth of memories to cherish. I’m sure your grandma would have loved being so involved and that everyone still celebrated the start of your sisters marriage. I imagine she would hate for any sadness or guilt to have clouded your sisters wedding.
