I cannot stand how I look with my hair up. On me, I just feel like it looks awful. I’ve always wanted to wear my hair down on my wedding day, but I worry it won’t look great with my dress (I never planned on getting a fuller dress!). I think hair UP makes the most sense with this dress!
Here are some pictures of me trying on my dress (because I can’t help it…) with my hair down. Granted, my hair isn’t styled here (just straightened).
Would leaving my hair down be “too much hair” for that dress? I also worrying about covering the pretty sweetheart neckline! (like in the first picture) I have since cut my hair just a few inches for that very reason.
Any style recommendations?

I think you should wear your hair the way that you feel most like you & whatever is the most comfortable! I think your dress is lovely & I agree that the biggest concern with wearing your hair down would be covering the pretty neckline… What about wearing your hair half up, half down?!

I agree with Recessionista. If you feel fabulous with your hair down than that’s how you should wear it.

agree w/ rosie – pull some pieces next to your bangs down in front to keep some of the hair you’re used to up front, but with a lot of it pinned back, you’ll avoid the bulk. OR, a low side ponytail with some curls. Kind of retro but not costumey..

I think your hair looks great down with the dress! Go for it!

Either half up, or down, but not all pulled forward! How about some curls, it’d sit well on your shoulders then?
I’m with you on this one, I had my hair up as Bridesmaid or Best Man in my brother’s wedding, and by midnight I was pulling at the pins.
