This is INSANE! Maybe write a bad review on WeddingWire to warn others? Your engagement photos look adoreable though!

That is crazy! I would definitely suggest writing reviews wherever you can (wedding websites, online listings for her business, her website if she has one with a review section) and reporting her to the head of the wedding show. I agree with PP that they should know that someone who rented a booth at their show is a nut job, they probably don’t want that kind of vendor associated with their show!

You looked awesome in your engagement pictures, I would have never guessed you had just gone through the makeover from hell!

Also, what the heck was the point of all her excuses? I’m so confused by that, lol. Like, what is the point of her faking a tooth emergency, faking a family emergency, and so on, if she still ends up doing your make up and NOT taking your money? She got nothing out of her theatrics! Weird. People are cray cray.

You look stunning, no thanks to her. What an awful experience – how unprofessional. I’d write reviews about your experience anywhere you can!

Ugh, I can relate. My cousin hired a makeup artist and a hair stylist to attend to the ladies on her wedding day. I was excited bc I had never had my makeup done and I was just planning to have my hair down anyway, so a free updo was great in my mind. WRONG. I came out looking like a drag queen with ten pounds of makeup and an updo that was so tight I got a headache halfway thru the night. I didn’t take it out or wipe any makeup off bc I didn’t want to upset my cousin who paid so much for this service, so needless to say I was miserable that night. Thank goodness this was not your wedding day!

WOW! It sucks that you had to deal with that but you are so lucky it was not on your wedding day! On the plus side your photo look amazing! 🙂

This sounds like my experience.

I was going to hire the same person that did my sister’s bridal hair and make up. My sister’s make up was gorgeous and so natural, best i have ever seen. This lady has been hired as a beautician for a number of A list celebrities (I have seen a photo of her with Britney Spears and other celebs, legit)

I booked in to have a brazillian wax and a manicure at the salon she owns.

During the brazillian wax her daughter (she couldn’t find a sitter that day, it was a Saturday afternoon so it was just her in the salon, fair enough) kept knocking on the door wailing. She had to keep going outside the room to console her daughter.

I felt horrible about someone not being able to watch their daughter so i told beautician not to worry about manicure and i would rebook later.

Beautician insisted i stay. She was doing my manicure and her daughter kept hovering over my nails.

Icing on the cake was when she informed me that she was very tired as she had been up for 48 hours straight. She had spent the previous night up in a local mountain praying for the community as she believes we’re all doomed.

I got the F out of there.

@FirstComesLoveNZ:  Hahahahahah, tell me about it. She was AMAZING turn back a few years ago but i think she is just sort of gone all cult-ish and weird.

@sharontobemarried:  Well at least you found out before the big day. She might have bought her daughter along!
