It broke my heart to read about her. I can’t believe other chidren can be so cruel. When I have children, I want them to be compassionate and understanding in the face of someone else’s disabilities or “abnormalities” for lack of a better word.
I hope someday, somehow, she can find a way to get the surgery she wants to help her feel better about herself.

I saw the same article tonight when I checked my email. Its just so sad to see children in situations like this it definitely makes me hug my daughter a little tighter.

awww poor girl! hard enough to be a teenager, and she has to face something like this! thankfully, articles like this do help out her plight by bringing her to the spotlight and therefore pressuring others to display decency even though they haven’t before. my prayers go out to her and her family….
