leahkate:  This, exactly. I’ve refrained from commenting on this post but the one thing that sticks out several times is that he justified this by saying he thought you were awake. Girl, no. He heard you say no and pried your legs open because he thought you were awake instead of being half asleep and out of it. That’s his justification. Not that it’s wrong because no means no, but because you weren’t as awake as he thought.

im nit going to pretend that if I were in your situation I could just up and leave with absolutely no problem, but the fact that he’s not seeing the real issue here concerns me.

ClaudiaKishi:  Can I not what? I just don’t really get it…..if she doesnt know what she was doing in her sleep and hes never raped her before like how does she know what was going on? how can she blame him for this?

It doesn’t matter what she was doing before. She said NO to sex. He forced her legs open and entered her as she said NO. That’s rape. End of story.

Remember you guys were DRUNK..and he’s your husband. I highly doubt he would do anything to harm or hurt you intentionally. If he’s apologized and is remorseful then move on. If I could tell you all the things my SO and I have done while under the influence…good heavens. Sometimes people are just stupid drunk.

I know my opinion is in the minority but that’s just how I feel. I hope you guys can move on from this and do better next time.

I’m very sorry you’re right to feel that way
