YAY!!!!!! I will be living vicariously through you since I can’t do this again this year!!!

Isn’t it fun when you see the tiny speck of green?

Yea! I would love to do this, but I know the cats would love to undo it far too much…

Lol! I worked in the late morning last summer and I would peek at them before work, go to work, and then come look at them after work and then again after dinner.

Oh, btw, if you plan on doing lettuce later on, Starbucks gives away their used coffee grounds… that helped my lettuce sprout in three days!!! It was ready to eat on burgers by day 9! 🙂

Yep just ask someone where the grounds are, or look around the front, they may be in a basket! The bag lasted me the whole summer, I swear! It turns out it’s because of the nitrogen–the lettuce and other leafy greens LOVE it!!!

@ The Ren – If only it were that easy!  I know my cats would be OK with it, but I had to lock my houseplants in a room after I moved in with FH.  I think his cats are possessed sometimes!

Wow!  I never knew you could grow vegetables indoors, I thought it was only for herbs.  Are you using special fertilizer and whatnot?  I’d love to do something like that, but if it’s high maintenance, I most likely wont be able to keep up with it.

@TheRen-really! we give them out all the time. Not everyone pre-bags them but if you ask they usualy do it for you on the spot. = ) I like getting rid of them that way! haha.

If my cats wouldn’t kill the plants, I would do this!
