@dynamic_duo:Thanks so much for sharing!! Shows that it is possible and even with some extras like the Out of Town bags that I wasn’t sure we could squeeze into the budget! How many guests did you have for each part of the wedding?

So you did your at home reception several months after returning from your destination wedding? My fiance and I came to the conclusion that it was necessary to scrub the idea of a at home reception because of the cost – We thought about doing it a few months after we returned but wasn’t sure how often people do that and how accepted it is.

PurpleUnicorn   Thanks for posting this, very helpful!! I am thinking about recommending sunset waterpark hotel to my guest after our wedding, How did you like the resort rooms?  They seem to be not as new as some of the other hotels, did you find that to be the case. or did you love the rooms?

Thank you so much for this post! Even though I am not planning a wedding in the carribbean, (we are planning on Ireland) this breakdown has been GREAT for us! And it is also super helpful to know what you would/could have done without!
