You should start designing dresses with your eye for detail! Can’t wait to see what your dress looks like when it’s done! Congrats!

@toasty:  To me the placement of the flower pattern on the original veil has an ‘artistic’ look.  There appears to be no real pattern, so this might be difficult for someone to copy.  If you can get close to copying it, it will be worth it.

I agree some of the sections of the veil looks like a collection of flowers/leaves then a random break and then a few more scatters.  It might be worth doing a drawing with large X and small X marks to show the random placement that gives this veil its beauty.

I think they can do the veil, but you need to point out that they need smaller lace appliques. Seeing as it’s all appliques anyway, they can just cut you some pieces in the appropriate size…. cut a bit off an existing applique. That’s what they usually do…

@toasty:  Wow, really enjoyed reading this, as others have said you’re really good at spotting what’s best for your designs, I’m impressed. Hope you get the veil you want, will look forward to hearing more Sealed

@toasty:  WOW, it is going to be a hard decision… which veil?  I must admit I absolutely love your first choice, it is very dramatic, but my heart belongs to drop veils, they seem to give a soft bridal look to the face.  But I do love your first veil.

Are you getting both made, and then deciding?  I guess that is what I would do because it is just too hard to choose between them.  You are going to look just so beautiful.

What are you doing with your bridesmaid dresses?

@cheetah2b:  They can make any dress as long as you have a photo of the front, one of the back, and preferably a few of the sides and the detail as well. They can also make changes to any dress on their website… for example, if you want the neckline changed, or the length altered, etc.

@toasty:  I can’t answer you question sorry, but I am concerned about the weight of the flowers.  Too many, and too heavy a material would add extra weight and then the veil would hang straight.  It may loose its softness.

So I guess I would go for organza, not from any expert knowledge base, but it may be a lighter fabric.  I think satin would be too heavy.

Over to the experts for their input.
