@Mrs.Mods:  Hmm that is a toughie! The original lace design looks more like the first one BUT it’s more spaced out like the second one. I think I’m leaning towards option 2.

@Mrs.Mods:  LOL, just had another glance and they do kinda resemble the curtains at my parents’ house.

Option 2 has a prettier pattern I think.

Ok, I don’t know about being an expert.  Option 2 IMO of the first picture posted.  The first one I think the flowers are too small and busy.  Option 2 the flowers are larger and the braid around them makes the flower pattern really pop. My second favourite is option 1 of the second picture you posted.

@Mrs.Mods:  OMG, I’m so excited! I had the embrace made by Jasmine’s too, and I just came across this thread, I also have mine in off-white lace over light-champagne satin. I upgraded to the designer fabric. They are sending out my embrace TODAY! I’m really nervous, but (as this thread has established) the customer service at Jasmine’s has been absolutely AMAZING (props out to James!!!!!). I hope we can compare Jasmines embrace pics! I will post mine up as SOON as I get my dress, but for now, here are my post-production pics (the only difference is I asked for a LITTLE more beading and ‘bling’ on the flower):

@Mrs.Mods:  Oh, and I would go with the first lace, I think it is more delicate and soft, which seems to flow better with the dress. Sorry for the bazillion replies!

I like option 1 of the second pic, against the blue background. I think you really need to see lace against a coloured background to be able to judge it properly!

@Mrs.Mods:  Thanks so much! I will post when I get it immediately!

Also, I was dumb and didn’t realize you posted two pairs of lace, I was just responding to the latter pair. I agree totally with hiheel, I like option two of the first set of lace, option one of the second set of lace.

@Mrs.Mods:  Oh and I just got designer level material. It didn’t seem like designer level craftsmanship was necessary for this dress, very little beating or intricate work. I cared a lot about the gathering and flowing, but they said they thought the normal craftsmanship would be more than fine to get that effect (and they were totally right! I felt awesome when they didn’t pressure me to spend MORE money).

@Mrs.Mods:  It’s great to see the lace on an actual dress.
