You can do something different. I think the important thing for your jewelry is for it to go with your dress well.

I’m going different for sure. I have a lovely set of pearls for myself and I’m thinking I want them in something blue that matches the dress.

@katie1494:  My girls wore yellow gold.  I wore white gold and pearls.  You don’t have to coordinate with the bridesmaids at all.

My girls will be wearing gold/pearls and I’ll be wearing white/gold and pearls. It will look best with their dresses/my dress and in pictures I don’t even think you’ll be able to tell. So yes, you don’t have to match!
