I have frizzy, dry, curly hair.  But, I use Biolage Ultra Hydrating Balm as a leave-in conditioner.  I use a really thick creamy conditioner in the shower and leave it up in the conditioner like a hairmask for like 10 minutes (I use this time to wash my face/body, shave, etc).  I only wash my hair about 2x/week and when I do I use shampoo only on my roots because otherwise it dries out your hair.

I think the key to keeping hair from frizzing is to properly moisturize it and keep it from being damaged.

Do you dye/highlight your hair a lot?  Can you maybe stop doing that?

@crayfish:  +1!!

Some of those treatments can be bad news for your hair, and even worse for your health. My advice, as a curly haired girl, is to learn how to properly care for your hair and give up all the crappy chemicals. Ever since I’ve done that, I have gorgeous hair. I get compliments all the time! Check out naturallycurly.com and the forums. It is so much easier to embrace your hair than spend your life damaging it to attain a look that doesn’t work for your hair!

FutureMrsHuneyBee:  Hello I have a question also about keratin treatments. My stylist started using the treatment over a year ago and it was the Brazilian and my hair wasnt shedding and I loved it. She started using another brand and my hair didn’t become straight. So, I found a Moroccan keratin and my hair was super straight. I now noticed that my hair a sheeding alot and breaking also. It seems way more than 100 pieces of hair. Everytime I comb it, a good amount comes out. Can it be the Moroccan treatment is too harsh and causing my hair to break and shedd alot? I am so worrierd I will not have any hair left. My hair was always thin, but it is worse now. Any help will be great! Thank you
