Excellent news. I too think about you often. I pray these next few weeks go by as easy as a breeze. You guys would make wonderful parents to you lovely rainbow baby boy!

FreckledFox :  OMG!! I’m so happy for you!! I don’t visit WeddingBees as often as I used to. But I think of you often. My rainbow baby (who is now 18 months!) pregnancy was scary. I had some scares that took me to Labor and Delivery several times. And a bright red intense bleed at 32 weeks (while I was out of town) that had no reason and cleared up within an hour. Then I went into preterm labor at 33 week. Luckily they were able to stop it and we were able to keep him in (modified bed rest and medication) until 39 weeks.

The thing I kept telling myself is 1)anxiety never saved a baby and 2) the best thing I could do is create a happy, calm, non-anxious environment for him. So I worked really hard at enjoying the moments I was having with him. I mean, if I were to lose him (heaven forbid), I wanted to remember every moment and know that I filled his short life with love and joy. Not saying that I didn’t visit the MFM often just for a scan so I could see him. And anxiety did take over sometimes,  but I was motivated to let it go and just be in the moment.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. And please, please come back and share a picture of him!

I just saw the updates!  I followed your story back when you were pregnant with Grady.  I was so heartbroken for you then.  I am so happy for you now.  I know you will always hurt from losing your son, but you so very much deserve this little ray of sunshine!  Congratulations!

I’m so happy for your update. I think of you regularly as the March of Dimes still sends me solicitations addressed to “eeniebeans Lastname” which was the name I donated under for Grady- which I think is kind of funny! I’ve often wondered how things were for you, so I’m so happy to hear about your little one on the way.
